We have been with Hartswood since 2012 with a management agreement of our house in London, after having been with a mainstream competitor for a number of years.

Changing to Hartswood with its small, friendly and dedicated team, has been the best decision we have taken since we decided to let our house.

One knows who does what and communication is excellent, unlike with the previous management company, where there was a continuous rotation of staff and whenever there were problems with the house and appliances, there was no efficient response from them nor action taken. As a consequence, tenants and ourselves were left angry and extremely frustrated.

Property inspection reports are regularly prepared by Stella, she has therefore first hand knowledge of the property, whilst with the previous management company this task was outsourced, thus the property manager had no awareness at all about the state of the property.

Communication with Stella and Brian is very good and any problems raised by tenants and ourselves are dealt with promptly, whilst Rob responsible for finance, is very efficient with monthly financial reporting and the timely transfer of rental income.

When we are informed that there are issues raised by tenants, and when major refurbishments were carried out, Stella proved to be very effective in arranging quotes and seeing the works through to completion. Examples of major works carried out successfully were the replacement of the gas boiler, the painting of the exterior wood work at the front of the house and repairs to the façade and replacement of the gutters.

We recommend Hartswood highly enough to find suitable tenants and to fully manage your property in a very satisfactory manner.
